A steady increase in demand for containerised transport solutions was the basis for the formation of North*Sea Container Line AS (NCL) in autumn 1994.
North*Sea Container Line offers a transport product of the highest quality. Today, the basis for the company is the transport of fish and industrial products as well as door-to-door transport of all kinds of goods. A steadily increasing number of imported goods arrive in Norway with NCL’s help. NCL connects Western and Northern Norway with the important ports on the European Continent. Our strategy is to be the preferred choice of transport users who wish to transport containerised cargo to and from Western and Northern Norway. These areas of Norway are our home market and it is here we are specialists!

North*Sea Container Line is the leading container shipping company between the big container ports on the Continent and Western and Northern Norway. Our feeder service consists of weekly departures from Hamburg and Bremerhaven, and two weekly departures from Rotterdam. This enables us to transport overseas containers in a system of regular routes to and from Norway.

North*Sea Container Line calls at many industrial ports in Norway. Many of them are located outside the ordinary ports along the coast. We transport raw materials in and manufactured goods out on a contract basis. This special service connects our partners directly to their markets worldwide.
Our reference customers include Alloc AS, Ekornes ASA, Elkem ASA, Eramet Norway AS, Fesil AS and Norsk Hydro ASA.
